And that’s what I call after training chill out 😀
Protein shake: protein powder, half frozen banana, ice cubes, water.
Computer, music, couch 😀
Hahahaha! Tuna again!
This time:
canned tuna in brine
tomato
black olives
canned corn
leek
cucumber
For side to my salad I took rice cakes and spread gorgeous avocado on top 😀
Thin slices of beef, fresh salad, parmesan cheese and a tiny bit of sauce 🙂
I did not make it though, all this thanks to my dear friends from Taste restaurant! They are amazing cooks!! ❤
Ingredients:
red radish
cucumber
cuckooflower
roasted sunflower kernels
roasted seasame seeds
cottage cheese
smoked salmon
Yeah, I know it’s not paleo because of cottage cheese, but I LOVE cottage cheese and once in a while it is my cheat 😀
No time at work, all I had was:
Cos lettuce, steamed salmon, cucumber, broccoli, dried apricots, seasame seeds.
Just mixed it all in a big bowl 🙂
Wish I had some tomatoes and nuts. If you want you can add some olive oil. In my opinion salmon was fat enough 😉
As I promised here is a recipe for a paleo cake. Lots of calories but no sugar, healthy fats, no cooking.
Bottom ingredients:
20 almonds
10 dates
Chuck it all into a blender. When it starts being sticky, stop and put in a dish (press to create a flat bottom). Another option could be mixing it with some butter and baking but this time no oven required 😀
Middle layer ingredients:
1 banana
1 egg
0,3 g of agar agar (mixed with hot water)
Blend a banana. Whisk whole egg until smooth. Combine both, add prepared agar agar and pour over the almond bottom. Put it into the fridge to set.
Top layer ingredients:
1 avocado
1 tsp of carob (or unsweetened cacao)
2 tbsp of agave sirup
50ml coconut milk
0,3 g of agar agar (mixed with hot water)
Blend avocado, add carob and sirup (depends how sweet you want it). Add coconut milk and mix well. Add another portion of agar agar. Pour into a dish and back to the fridge.
That’s it. But I gotta warn you, it’s very rich. Carefull with it! 😀
Officially I can’t train anymore. My ankle is not getting any better so I can’t walk properly. I’ll stick to walking around, since these are my last days in Melbourne.
Next few posts will be all about food than 😀
Today’s ingredients:
Prawns + cucumber + eggplant +spring onion + seasoning
Outcome:
Delicious eggplant dip (baked eggplant, garlic, paprika, cumin – basically you can season anyway you like) and things to dip it in 😉
Yes, you’re right. I said prawns 🙂 I already started munching on my cucumber when I thought it would need some color… and then it hit me! PRAWNS! Yay! Still plenty of dip and cucumber slices.
